Kitty Kristmas Korner

Attention all kitties and mature felines. Is your Kristmas Korner ready? Do not fret, there's still time. Find a very nice visible corner, preferably close to the chimney, and fill it with all your favorite Kristmas toys of past. This is sure to get Santa's attention. Remember, he and his reindeers are going to be very busy, so there is not alot of time for him to drop off presents.

If you don't have your Kristmas Korner ready, there is no guarantee that Santa will know he is in the right house. What will you do with a dog bone or an IPhone? This is why getting your Kitty Korner ready is a must. Once Santa comes down the chimney, he will see your korner and leave lots of feline gifts for you.

The Purrrrrrfect Christmas Gift

While shopping with my mommy at Kohl's Department Store, I came across the purrrrrfect gift to give or receive at Christmas. " If You Give A Cat a Cupcake" is a very funny book about the adventures of a sweet feline.

Add this purrrfect feline gift to your most wanted list for Santa Claus. If you prefer pet videos, a good old standby is the DVD "Cat Sitter" . The purrrfect movie for those rainy days when you just want to sleep in or when your parents take off for the weekend. Its a continuous loop DVD, so be careful not to jump through the TV set to get one of those birds, because you can hurt your soft nose.

Au Revoir Trouper

So long and farewell to my friend Trouper.
We lost a beautiful and dashing Chesapeake Bay Retriever at the tender age of 15.
Trouper hated the water until his crazy sister Irish challenged him to sticks. He was sock-stealer and a chipmunk hunter. Go Trouper.
And even through his last days he lived up to his name.
Au Revoir Trouper. We will miss you.

My Cousin Gianni

Meet my cousin "Gianni". He is pure "Italiano" born and raised in Tuscany. Lives on a big farm and is one tall, lean, mean mouse hunter.

Rumor has it that Gianni makes the Italian felines "ciaowwwwwwww" as he struts by. Even the rabbits adore him.

Don't Leave Home Without It

We can't wait to get some fresh air and its so easy to become distracted, wander further from home than we should, and before you know it we are lost! Do not believe everything you read "Tom Cat Walks 2,000 miles from New Jersey to Texas". Trust me, he did not walk...he had a tag and a truck driver found him and dumped him at the nearest shelter.
This is why I am a strong advocate of Operation ID. You must always have an ID around your neck so if you should lose track of time and wander off, someone will help you get back home.
I like Doctors Foster Smith catalog for purchasing. Right now they are giving a 15% discount on name tags in Solid Brass, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. This can save your life. Over 8 million furry felines and canines are taken to shelters each year because of no ID. Please, get your ID today. My favorite magazine "Cat Fancy" also has an article all about this.

Special Guest Cha Cha

Hi Everyone,

I'm Cha Cha and I am third generation Scottsdale. We love living here in Scottsdale and I know all the stories about how we supposedly migrate to Mexico. Why would we make such a long treacherous trip when our home is here! So much can happen on such a long trip and when you have children you want them to be safe. We have everything we need here. We have our own home just around the corner from Missy Sophia and MizMistyGirl, and we're surrounded by fresh flowers, plants, and natural foods.

A word of not believe everything you read. It is not necessary to mix food for our family with RED food coloring. It is not healthy. Trust me, we can see the red feeder for miles. I've got to run...the children are waiting.

Missy Sophia, thank you so much for inviting me to be a special guest on your blog.

Just Another Day In Paradise

A Celebrity is Gone

We mourn the loss of our friend "Gidget" who passed away yesterday at the tender age of 15 while playing with her favorite toy. One minute you're having the time of your life, and then suddenly the big taco in the sky comes down and swoops you up.

Gidget had a long and successful career with Taco Bell and will be missed by thousands of fans.

Getting Better All The Time

As you can see, I am getting better with each day. Here I am with my sister MizMisty. Remember her? The one that thought I was a raccoon? Didn't spent much time outdoors, eh? Nevertheless, I am very happy and have many great stories to share with you, including the latest and greatest toys, meow wear and yummies. My blog will feature guest feline furry friends and their adventures. I have to go now, my mommy has my yogurt ready.

Albino Raccoon

I'll never forget the day my mommy and poppy came through the door with what I thought was some new breed of raccoon. Maybe it's an Albino Raccoon. I had no idea they intended to keep the raccoon, until they gathered up a blankey and headed to poppy's office. I couldn't get a close look, but I had a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. What was I going to do with a raccoon? Don't they bite? Then my mommy tells me I have a new sister. Sister? This is a white and grey raccoon. I am a gifted and beautiful blue cream persian mix (mostly persian) with no time for a sister, let alone a raccoon. Then I saw the tail.

Rough Start

Wow, one day you're pushing your way through a crowd of felines, the next your sitting in a cage in Petsmart. Who knew? Here I thought scrimping around dirty dishes for a few crumbs was normal, until I got adopted. I have to admit, I was so tired and not feeling well when I landed in Petsmart. I was too sick to be happy. The next day, this nice man and lady were looking at me in the window. I couldn't see them too well because my eyes were infected. I couldn't eat because my gums were sore. My hair was all tangled and knotted. Boy I was a mess! When they pressed their face against the window, and I could see their big eyes and big smile, I knew. They love me!! Please God, let them take me home.
