TIME OUT

This is a true story based on actual facts.
One day I am sitting in my backyard minding my own business, when these skeeters (my Aunt Roberta calls them Crane Flies but they are skeeters) come into my territory and antagonize me. So what do I do? What any big mean cat does! I chase them all over the yard, knocking down mommy's silly plants and all of a sudden I hear "Sophia stop it.... Sophia stop it now....Sophia I said no...ok TIME OUT! Time out??? Qu'est-ce que TIME OUT? Suddenly my mommy picks me up and literally drops me in the house behind our screen door. Now I do not know about you, but this is not TIME OUT. This is TIME IN.
Prisoners do not do "Time Out" they do Time In.
Needless to say, I eventually got out of time out. Now I want to hear from all my friends on what you think of this TIME OUT thingy. Write to me.

Kitty Kristmas Korner

Attention all kitties and mature felines. Is your Kristmas Korner ready? Do not fret, there's still time. Find a very nice visible corner, preferably close to the chimney, and fill it with all your favorite Kristmas toys of past. This is sure to get Santa's attention. Remember, he and his reindeers are going to be very busy, so there is not alot of time for him to drop off presents.

If you don't have your Kristmas Korner ready, there is no guarantee that Santa will know he is in the right house. What will you do with a dog bone or an IPhone? This is why getting your Kitty Korner ready is a must. Once Santa comes down the chimney, he will see your korner and leave lots of feline gifts for you.

Ah Humbug

Get into the Christmas spirit and ask Mommy or Poppy to take you to the Dillard's Store at Scottsdale Fashion Square this coming weekend.

This nice lady artist from Tucson, Diana Madaras, is going to be there in person on Friday and Saturday December 4 and 5 from noon time until 4:00 p.m. to sign copies of her new book
"Kitty Humbug's Christmas Tail". It's another purrrfect stocking gift for a fuzzy feline.

The Purrrrrrfect Christmas Gift

While shopping with my mommy at Kohl's Department Store, I came across the purrrrrfect gift to give or receive at Christmas. " If You Give A Cat a Cupcake" is a very funny book about the adventures of a sweet feline.

Add this purrrfect feline gift to your most wanted list for Santa Claus. If you prefer pet videos, a good old standby is the DVD "Cat Sitter" . The purrrfect movie for those rainy days when you just want to sleep in or when your parents take off for the weekend. Its a continuous loop DVD, so be careful not to jump through the TV set to get one of those birds, because you can hurt your soft nose.

Rough Start

Wow, one day you're pushing your way through a crowd of felines, the next your sitting in a cage in Petsmart. Who knew? Here I thought scrimping around dirty dishes for a few crumbs was normal, until I got adopted. I have to admit, I was so tired and not feeling well when I landed in Petsmart. I was too sick to be happy. The next day, this nice man and lady were looking at me in the window. I couldn't see them too well because my eyes were infected. I couldn't eat because my gums were sore. My hair was all tangled and knotted. Boy I was a mess! When they pressed their face against the window, and I could see their big eyes and big smile, I knew. They love me!! Please God, let them take me home.
