So long and farewell to my friend Trouper.

We lost a beautiful and dashing Chesapeake Bay Retriever at the tender age of 15.

Trouper hated the water until his crazy sister Irish challenged him to sticks. He was sock-stealer and a chipmunk hunter. Go Trouper.

And even through his last days he lived up to his name.

Au Revoir Trouper. We will miss you.

Meet my cousin "Gianni". He is pure "Italiano" born and raised in Tuscany. Lives on a big farm and is one tall, lean, mean mouse hunter.

Rumor has it that Gianni makes the Italian felines "ciaowwwwwwww" as he struts by. Even the rabbits adore him.
